Slidepod Modular Seat System The Modular Seat System integrates directly into the aluminium bed supports of your Slidepod bed upgrade. At 1 metre wide, this two-person seat provides comfortable seating for adults in the rear of your vehicle when parked. The unit includes a hinged memory foam cushion and folds down to allow the bed platform to be deployed when needed. The seat can be positioned in two predefined locations along the bed support rails, or removed entirely using the supplied 5mm T-Key. ⚠ Important Safety Information This seat is NOT designed to carry passengers while the vehicle is in motion. It does not include seatbelts or meet safety standards for in-transit use. This upgrade provides comfortable seating in the rear of your vehicle whilst it is stationary only. Passengers must use the vehicle's factory-fitted seats while travelling. Two positioning options — fits in either of the two predefined positions for the support legs, giving flexibility in your layout. Slidepod VANFLEX BED SYSTEM

The Vanflex is the entry point to the Slidepod range. It's a proper slide-out bed system that drops into your van with no permanent modifications. It uses the same adjustable-height casing as the Slidepod Ultra kitchen units, so if you decide later that you want a full kitchen, water, and storage setup, everything carries over: same fixings, same mounting system, same casing. Nothing gets replaced.

Who is the Vanflex for?

Anyone who wants a comfortable overnight setup without permanently converting their van. Use it for weekend trips, festivals, or extended touring, then lift the whole unit out in minutes when you need the van back for work or family. If your plans grow, pair it with a Slidepod Ultra to add a kitchen, water system, and extra storage to the same pod.

What makes Slidepods unique

Do I Need To Modify My Vehicle?

No permanent modifications required. The Slidepod uses your vehicles's existing tie-down points or rail systems. No drilling or structural changes needed. Maintains manufacturer warranty, resale value, and more importantly, no changes to your insurance policy in most cases.

How Long Does Setup Take?

When your Slidepod arrives, allow around 2 hours for two people to unpack it, complete the initial setup and installation, then familiarise yourselves with how everything works.

Once assembled, installing and removing your Vanflex Bed System on a regular basis takes just minutes.

What's The Difference Between Bed Platform Sizes?

Three bed platform sizes available: 1860x1200mm, 1860x1300mm, and 1860x1450mm. Choose based on your vehicles's interior width and desired sleeping space. All work with or without existing second row of seats.

Vehicle Compatibility

Compatible with all factory variants of the VW Transporter chassis (excluding California Ocean), plus: VW Multivan T7, Ford Transit Custom (panel van), Mercedes Vito, Peugeot Expert, Citroën Dispatch, Vauxhall Vivaro, and Toyota Proace panel vans.
