We use the slidepod almost every time we go out in the van. It sits in the boot minding its own business until we need it and then it springs into action.
Our VW Transporter Caravelle van is our daily drive and it’s so handy to be able to have the Slidepod there in case we need it. Whether that be when we are carting the kids around to various clubs, out and about at the weekend, or we have just arrived at a campsite after a 7 hour drive- it’s so handy to just be able to pull out the slidepod and make a cuppa.
Having the slidepod in the boot means that we have lots more space inside the van- it’s perfect for a rainy day when we want to sit inside and play a game/ have a picnic as we have the room!
But it doesn’t stop us using the van as a work horse too- we have helped friends move house and been to the tip with it in and still have plenty of space. If we needed to, we could remove the Slidepod, but we just haven’t needed to.
For us, having the Slidepod in the van makes the van feel like a bit of a Swiss Army knife. It can be our daily drive, our weekend explorer, our European roadtripper or the tip runner. Almost all of which involves making a cuppa."
